The Masala World Music Concert Series | An Evening of Rumi’s Poetry and Persian Classical Music

Featuring a poetry and music recital by Haleh Liza Gafori accompanied by Isabel Castellvi (cello), with dance adaptations choreographed by Brandye Lee and a performance by the Persian Music Project ensemble: Jaishree Raman & Shivakumar Raman (vocalists), Hossein Khaleghian (oud), hallie voulgaris (oud), Moslem Parvin (setar), Shiva Ashtari (daf frame drum), and Mahsan Jobeiri (violin), under the direction of Hamed Erfani.
