The Media Slam Tuesday night was well attended and featured five students from the OU School of Art & Art History who presented their original works in conjunction with Stirring the Fire and the 2013 Puterbaugh Festival. The theme for the slam was using art to promote social justice and OU students Tania Khouri, Eric Piper, Ragobash, Dillon Votaw, and Molly Youngblood from the student organization New Media Collective all participated. The audience voted on their favorite piece at the end, and Ragobash’s impacting piece that addressed bullying and LGBT social justice issues was selected as the audience favorite.
